Estrada's no-hit bid for Blue Jays broken up in 8th inning (The Associated Press)

TORONTO (AP) -- Marco Estrada's no-hit bid for the Toronto Blue Jays has been broken up on a bloop single by Baltimore Orioles pinch-hitter Jimmy Paredes leading off the eighth inning.

Estrada, who threw a season-high 118 pitches, left to a standing ovation from the crowd of 32,322 after giving up the hit. He was replaced by Roberto Osuna.

Estrada walked two batters in the first inning and one each in the second and third, then retired 15 straight before Paredes, batting for Steve Pearce, singled to shallow left field.
