It might be difficult keeping track of all the Orioles' new pitchers these days considering the number executive vice president Dan Duquette has stockpiled over the past few weeks.
So let’s move away from the Orioles’ cluster of roster moves to focus on the pitcher starting Saturday afternoon’s game in Toronto: right-hander Alec Asher.
Asher, 25, fits the mold of many of the other new additions. He’s young, still has promise and the Orioles believe they might have acquired him at the right time in his career.
The move to get Asher didn’t cost much.
