On Saturday, the Baltimore Orioles and National Baseball Hall of Famer and Orioles Legend and Community Ambassador Eddie Murray hosted a baseball clinic for children from the YMCA of Central Maryland at Weinberg.
According to the Orioles over 60 children between the ages of 6-15 came to Oriole Park for the clinic.
The Orioles press team says that Murray taught them the fundamentals of the game, while helping them as they participated in hitting, throwing, and base running drills.
Later that evening, the Orioles honored Murray, as well as other members of the 1983 World Series Championship team, as part of a special pregame ceremony.
