Orioles first baseman Chris Davis went 0-for-4 with a strikeout in the Delmarva Shorebirds' 9-2 loss to the Lexington Legends in a Low-A South Atlantic League game Wednesday night.
He batted second in the order and lasted six pitches in his first at-bat before striking out with the Shorebirds trailing 2-0 in the first inning. He grounded out in his next three plate appearances, including hitting into a double play.
Monday, Davis went 1-for-4 with a double and a walk in the Frederick Keys' 10-7 loss to the Myrtle Beach Pelicans in a High-A Carolina League game.
