Dennis Pitta’s return to the field could be delayed even longer after a finger injury he suffered on Monday night at the Baltimore Ravens practice at M&T Bank Stadium.
According to Zac Jackson of ProFootballTalk.com, Pitta will “miss some time”:
Pitta left the Ravens’ Monday night stadium practice with a sprained finger, and Ravens coach John Harbaugh said Pitta will miss some time with the injury.
Pitta hasn’t played in a game since Sept. 2014 and has only played in seven games since 2012. Two serious hip injuries nearly ended his career, so by comparison a finger injury shouldn’t be a big deal.
