Dean Kremer, folks. DEAN KREMER, FOLKS.
The Orioles needed a good start from Kremer tonight and that’s exactly what they got. The beleaguered bullpen needed a break and that’s exactly what they got. Kremer completed seven innings tonight with two runs allowed, outpitching his Yankees counterpart Nestor Cortes. The end result was a 4-2 victory by the Orioles, giving them sole possession of first place in the AL East and guaranteeing at least a series split.
It’s been an up and down season for Kremer so far and if the team leadership was considering removing him from the rotation in favor of either Kyle Bradish or John Means, that decision just got a lot more difficult.
