The Orioles were represented at free agent Tim Lincecum's pitching showcase Friday in Scottsdale, Ariz., along with about 20 other baseball teams. They've been monitoring teams' interest in the two-time Cy Young Award winner.
The chances of getting "The Freak" to Baltimore, however, are slim.
"Frankly, I’d be surprised if Lincecum signs on the east side of the Mississippi River," Orioles executive vice president Dan Duquette said Sunday on SiriusXM Radio's MLB Network Radio.
