The Baltimore Sun reported that the law firm of Peter Angelos, owner of the Baltimore Orioles, will go into conservatorship.
In the report, a judge said he found it appropriate because in accordance with state law, the conservator will inventory and review the firm's files and could sell the law practice.
Angelos' youngest son, Louis Angelos, previously transferred the firm to himself. Attorneys for Georgia Angelos, Louis' mother, characterized it as selling it to himself and financial elder abuse.
The judge has scheduled a trial to begin on July 10.
