Cashner and three homers propel Orioles to 6-3 win over Mets

After being dominated by Boston over the weekend, the O’s got back in the win column by playing well in all facets of the game. Andrew Cashner and three home runs by O’s hitters led the way to a 6-3 victory over the Mets. The win snapped a five game losing streak and they’ve now won all three games they’ve played against the Mets.

The Orioles were trailing 2-1 after five innings when the Birdland Power Company reared its wonderful head. Adam Jones tied the game in the sixth, Chris Davis gave the Birds the lead in the seventh, and Tim Beckham provided two insurance runs in the eighth.
