Cashner allows trio of HRs in loss to Mariners

SEATTLE -- The Orioles couldn't take advantage of the Mariners' defensive miscues in a 5-2 loss in Wednesday night's series finale at Safeco Field.

Three Seattle errors led to Baltimore's lone runs of the game in the fifth inning. After a one-out double by Cedric Mullins, an errant throw from shortstop Jean Segura scored Mullins and put Jonathan Villar on second base, tying the game at 1. The Orioles took a 2-1 lead on Segura's second error of the inning as he missed a ground ball from Adam Jones, allowing Villar to score.
