Orioles catcher Caleb Joseph reported no problems and said he felt healthy and strong after going behind the plate Monday night for High-A Frederick, catching for the first time since suffering a testicular injury that required surgery.
Joseph caught eight innings, threw out one of two attempted base-stealers, and went 0-for-4 with a strikeout. He seemed to believe he felt good enough to return to the majors and join the Orioles on the West Coast as they begin a nine-game swing with the San Diego Padres Tuesday, but wasn’t sure when that would be.
