BALTIMORE -- Amid a slow start, Opening Day starter Dylan Bundy has always been a bright spot for Baltimore. On Friday, he finally got his due.
Bundy struck out nine and held the Indians to one run over six innings to pick up his first win of the season and help the O's snap a six-game skid with a series-opening 3-1 win over the Indians at Camden Yards. For Bundy, who has a team-leading 1.42 ERA in five starts, the "W" couldn't have come at a better time. Coming off a winless two-city road trip, Friday's victory was just the second in 10 games for the Orioles (6-14), who are desperate to get things going as they risk being buried early in the American League East standings.
