Buck Showalter, Orioles see many reasons they've come alive late in games vs. Tigers

Three times against the Detroit Tigers, it looked like the Orioles might not score if the game went 90 innings, let alone nine. But in the course of taking three straight to craft a second seven-game winning streak of the season, the Orioles bats have come alive after the fifth inning in a way that didn’t look possible before that.

On Saturday against Anibal Sanchez, the Orioles mustered just two hits through the first five innings, then scored nine runs on nine hits including four home runs over the next three frames in a 9-3 win.
