The Baltimore Orioles held a public memorial Monday morning for "Mr. Oriole," Brooks Robinson, in a special ceremony at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
The memorial started at 10 a.m., recognizing the impact Robinson had on the Orioles organization and Baltimore.
The Hall of Fame baseball player died on Tuesday at the age of 86. He spent his entire 23-year playing career in Baltimore and served in many different roles with the organization after his playing days were over.
Baseball Hall of Famer Cal Ripken Jr. remembered Robinson as a great role model.
