Even though everyone is focused on the Cleveland Indians vs. Chicago Cubs World Series, the Baltimore Orioles decided to help get their fans through the winter by releasing their Spring Training schedule.
Because of the 2017 World Baseball Classic, the Orioles will star their schedule on February 24th. The team will begin their exhibition season against the Detroit Tigers at Joker Marchant Stadium in Lakeland, Florida, and the Orioles will head to Sarasota on February 26th and play against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
The Orioles only have one full split-squad day on the schedule this season. Half of the team will stay in Sarasota and host the Minnesota Twins while the other half will go to Tampa and play against the New York Yankees.
