Baltimore Orioles: Orioles acquire RHP Logan Verrett from Mets

The Baltimore Orioles have made the first move to improving their roster this offseason. But it’s no one from the free agent market.

According to Brittany Ghiroli of MLB.com, the Baltimore Orioles have acquired RHP Logan Verrett from the New York Mets in exchange for cash considerations ($50,000).

Verrett was actually in the Orioles organization last season after he was picked in the Rule 5 Draft. The Orioles eventually lost him in Spring Training where Verrett eventually found his way back to the Mets after a pit stop with the Texas Rangers.
