The Baltimore Orioles and Mark Trumbo spent a good portion of the offseason in a proverbial”cat and mouse” game.
But all of that came to an end on Thursday night when the Orioles and Trumbo agreed to a three-year, $37 Million contract.
The deal is currently pending a physical, reports Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports.
Trumbo lead the American League with 47 home runs last season, which prompted the Orioles to give him a qualifying offer. After spending a good portion of the offseason trying to get more money from the Orioles, both sides came to an agreement.
