Jake Arrieta isn’t the only former member of the Baltimore Orioles starting for the Chicago Cubs. Jason Hammel is also on their roster, and he’s starting today (as we speak, in fact) for the southsiders against St. Louis. Chicago leads the NLDS series two games to one, which makes this an elimination game.
Many O’s fans are a little bitter when they see Arrieta having the success he’s having in Chicago, and I’m sure that to a lesser degree the same is true regarding Hammel. However as I’ve said in the past, I think that everyone involved should be happy for them.
