The Baltimore Orioles finally notched a victory on Sunday, snapping their losing streak at nine games. After a pair of low-scoring losses to open the series, the Birds avoided the sweep by beating the Miami Marlins 10-4.
Nine different Orioles collected at least one hit in the win, making things difficult on Marlins pitchers Trevor Richards and Merandy Gonzalez. It was their first time scoring more than five runs in a game since May 24 — no wonder they’ve gone 4-16 since then.
The Orioles are off today, but they’ll kick off a three-game series against the Washington Nationals tomorrow at 7:05 p.
