After nearly two weeks and a whole lot of losing, the Baltimore Orioles are finally back in the win column.
Starter Andrew Cashner was solid against the Kansas City Royals, giving up three runs over six innings, but the real heroes of the game were a pair of power hitters: Chris Davis and Mark Trumbo. Davis continued his power surge, homering for the second consecutive game with fourth-inning blast to put the Birds up 3-2.
Later, with the score tied at 3-3 in the bottom of the eighth, Trumbo hit a clutch single with the bases loaded, bringing home the go-ahead runs.
