The Baltimore Orioles announced their 12 non-roster invitees for Spring Training. Many of the options are there to showcase the veteran depth options. However, there are some that are actually big-time prospects.
Chance Sisco, who is really the only major prospect for the Orioles, headlines as one of the three minor-league catchers who will get playing time this Spring. Sisco is expected to be the minor-league catching depth to Major League catchers Welington Castillo, Caleb Joseph and Francisco Pena.
As a career .323 hitter in the minors, the Orioles believe that Cisco can help their ball club sooner than later.
