The Babe Ruth Birthplace and Museum will reopen to the public Wednesday. The museum has been closed to the public since March 15 due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Executive Director Shawn Herne said the museum will be open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday, and will follow recommended safety guidelines established by the Centers for Disease Control and state and local health officials.

"Visitors will check in at the Dover Street courtyard where a docent will welcome them and give them instructions on how to safely tour the facility. Groups or individuals will enter the museum in 10-minute intervals and follow a specific tour path to ensure social distancing.
