Orioles starter Bud Norris was scheduled to face Matt Shoemaker on Saturday night in the second game of the series against the Los Angeles Angels at Camden Yards, but he has been scratched after coming down with a case of bronchitis. Ubaldo Jimenez will move up a day to pitch in his place.
Norris participated in the annual golf competition between the Orioles and Ravens at Caves Valley Golf Club on Thursday, then fell ill that evening. He was examined by an Orioles physician before Friday's game and diagnosed with the chest ailment. He has not been ruled out for Sunday's start in the series finale.
