With spring training winding down and another scoreless outing in the books Wednesday against his former team, right-hander Vance Worley arrived for work today no closer to understanding where he fits in the Orioles’ pitching picture.
“If you find out, let me know,” Worley said. “I don’t know. I’m just doing what I’m instructed to do, and trying to go out and throw zeroes. That’s really all I can do.”
For the third time in five spring outings, Worley did that in his two-inning stint for against the Pittsburgh Pirates at McKechnie Field in Bradenton Wednesday.
