Adam Jones' annual tailgate party raises $50,000 for local Boys and Girls clubs

In its fourth year, Adam Jones' annual benefit tailgate party raised a record amount to benefit local Boys and Girls Club of America.

This year’s #StayHungry Purple Tailgate -- held prior to Sunday’s Ravens-Steelers game at M&T Bank Stadium -- earned $50,000 for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Baltimore.

Over the previous three years, the Orioles center fielder's event has raised a combined $30,000.

This year's event, which featured a live performance by country music duo LoCash, included food from several local restaurants such as Abbey Burger Bistro, Brewster Street BBQ, Ryleigh’s Oysters, Food Market, Nobles Bar and Grill, Jimmy’s Famous Seafood, Blue Agave, Dogwatch Tavern, Dangerously Delicious Pies and Texas Roadhouse in Pasadena.
