Adam Jones' 200th career homer means 'you've got to be good and be wanted in a place for that long'

Adam Jones’ solo home run in the bottom of the sixth inning on Friday night was not only the only run scored in the Orioles’ 1-0 win over the Detroit Tigers, but it was Jones’ 200th career homer.

With 197 of those homers coming in an Orioles uniform –- he hit three with the Seattle Mariners before he was dealt to Baltimore prior to the 2008 season -- the 30-year-old Jones is already one of the top home run hitters in club history.

“I didn’t know it until after the game,” Orioles starter Chris Tillman said.
