Sports in Indiana are coming back. That's the plan, at least.
While the Indiana High School Athletic Association announced that all school-sponsored sporting activities will be suspended until June 30, and the plans of college and pro sports remain up in the air due to coronavirus concerns, several youth sports leagues around East Central Indiana have announced through Facebook that they will start practicing in two weeks and have games in a month.
Per Gov. Eric Holcomb's phased plan to reopen the state, and assuming there will be no changes to that plan, gyms, parks and playgrounds are allowed to reopen on May 24.
