MUNCIE, Ind. — Yorktown football fans have done it again.
Tigers senior Kolton Nanko won Week 8's East Central Indiana Player of the Week, his second time receiving the honor this season. Yorktown, which holds the area's best record at 6-2, has had one of its players be recognized six out of eight weeks in 2022.
Although the team's four-game winning streak came to an end in their 28-20 loss at Pendleton Heights last Friday, Nanko played well and notched a career-high 13 receptions for 172 yards in addition to a 32-yard completion, six tackles, a 27-yard interception return and one pass defensed.
