FARMLAND, Ind. — Already having won county and conference titles, Yorktown boys golf rose to the occasion once again.
On a hot and windy Monday that featured a late rain delay, three Tigers shot under 80 at Hickory Hills Golf Club to win the program's 23rd sectional title. The team finished with a score of 322, edging Delta (328) and Jay County (360) of the advancing teams.
Individual regional qualifiers from non-advancing schools were Muncie Burris’ Nahom Solomon (78), Winchester’s Paul Welch (84) and Monroe Central’s Reagan Duren (85).
