MONTICELLO, Ind. — Yorktown’s bats delivered again.
Reagan Cox crushed a two-run home run off the scoreboard in left-center field, she and her teammates combined to tally a number of extra-base hits and the Tigers coasted to a 15-3 win against Hanover Central (21-4-1) in their Class 3A semi-state softball semifinal.
Yorktown never trailed during the matchup.
“On paper they was a lot better than us but you got to go by strength of schedule,” coach Jeff Berger said. “We just wanted to come out and play like we’re capable of playing every game.
