MONTICELLO, Ind. — It’s one thing to talk about goals and mention them from time to time, it’s another to write them down and carry them around as a constant reminder.
Before Yorktown’s softball team opened the 2019 season its players took a piece of poster board and in varying colors laid out what they planned to accomplish. They wanted to win a fourth-straight county tournament championship and finish with a record above .750. They wanted to be “kicking booty every day” and have the confidence to know they’re the best player and team on the field every day.
