MUNCIE, Ind. — Ellee Stinson didn't feel any pressure to make a college decision right now. She's going to be just a sophomore this year, after all.
But after taking a visit to Northwestern, Stinson quickly realized it checked all the boxes. She thought to herself: Why not now?
Stinson became the latest Yorktown volleyball star to commit to a Division I school, announcing her intent to continue her career with the Wildcats in 2021. Choosing a school this early was "a weight lifted off my shoulders," and by listening to her explain her decision, it was bigger than just volleyball.
