YORKTOWN, Ind. — Yorktown has had one of the best girls soccer programs in East Central Indiana for quite some time.
The Tigers have won all eight of the program's sectional titles since 2009, including one in each of the past four years. They've also finished with double-digit wins in each of the five seasons that Tim Ashton has been at the helm.
This year, however, Yorktown comes into sectional play with its best regular season record (11-3-1) in recent memory. They beat New Palestine for the first time since 2013 and even their losses against tough opponents in Greenfield-Central (4-2), Mt.
