YORKTOWN, Ind. — There was a methodical nature to Yorktown's Friday night victory.
The Tigers came in focused. After going through senior night introductions and warmups, they went to the locker room and didn't return to the field until the National Anthem was about to begin. From there, the players strapped on their helmets, yelled in unison, "Beat Central!" And, well, that's just what they did.
For the second straight week, Yorktown dictated the course of the game on both offense and defense. After being forced to punt on the opening possession, senior Jamarius Evans powered in a pair of rushing touchdowns to put the Tigers up 14-0 in the first quarter.
