MUNCIE, Ind. — Matt Moulton admits now that he never had the coaching bug as so many of his friends did.
Instead of coaching, Moulton committed himself to raising a family and getting into education.
But now he's got the itch to join his buddies as a head coach, and he found the right opportunity at Yorktown, which introduced him as its next boys basketball coach on Tuesday night at a school board meeting.
Even just two years ago when Yorktown hired Eric Branz, Moulton said he had a gut feeling that it wasn't the right time for him to be a head coach.
