Ball State's Toni Ormond paired up with Julia Sbircea for a 6-1 defeat over Norfolk State’s Dajana Cvjetkovic and Ana Popovic at No. 1 doubles. The Cardinals continued their strong start after the No. 3 doubles tandem of Carmen Blanco and Bethany Moore clinched the point with their 6-2 victory over the Spartans’ Liza Gordeeva and Marta Gomar.
