DeKalb, Ill. - The Ball State women's tennis team (14-2, 2-0 MAC) completed its two-match weekend sweep to start Mid-American Conference action play when it registered a 6-1 victory at Northern Illinois (6-10, 0-2 MAC) Sunday afternoon in DeKalb.
The 2-0 MAC start marks the second-straight season the Cardinals have opened league action with a 2-0 ledger. Last year Ball State only suffered one loss in conference play.
