MUNCIE, Ind. - The 2015-16 Ball State University women’s tennis team was named an Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-Academic Team for the 17th time over the last 20 years.
As a team, the Cardinals combined for a 3.420 grade point average on the school's 4.0 scale. Two members of the squad received individual ITA Scholar-Athlete accolades, sophomore Carmen Blanco (3.933) and junior Toni Ormond (3.958). This is the third time for Ormond to receive the honor and the first time Blanco has been recognized with the award.
The ITA All-Academic Team award is open to any ITA program that has a cumulative team grade point average of 3.
