MUNCIE, IND. - The Ball State women's tennis team had to postpone its spring opener to Monday (Jan. 21) due to inclement weather. The Cardinals will now host Dayton at 1 p.m. in the Muncie YMCA Tennis Center.
The match is part of a doubleheader and follows the BSU men's match with Eastern Illinois at 1 p.m. The men's team opened its season last week at Indiana.
Last year, the Cardinals lost a tight 4-3 match on the road at Dayton. Prior to that, Ball State had won four straight over the Flyers.
The Cardinals return a veteran group this season with four seniors: Audrey Berger, Isabelle Dohanics, Peyton Gollhofer and Sarah Swiderski.
