MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State women’s tennis team, which earned an automatic bid to the NCAA Championships by winning the Mid-American Conference Tournament, will play a first-round match at Michigan.
The Cardinals, under the direction of head coach Max Norris, earned their first-ever berth in the NCAA Championships with a 4-0 win Sunday over Western Michigan in the MAC Tournament championship match.
Ball State and Michigan will meet Friday, May 13. The match time has not yet been determined. The winner will advance to play Sunday, May 15 against the winner of the Kentucky-Xavier match.
