INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Ball State women's tennis team has received a Public Recognition Award from the NCAA for their efforts in the classroom.
The Cardinals are one of more than 1,200 teams from 312 Division I schools to be recognized for academic excellence after scoring in the top 10 percent of their sport in the most recent Academic Progress Rates. The Ball State women's tennis team made the top 10 list with a perfect score.
Ball State is the only women's tennis program from the Mid-American Conference to receive the honor this year and one of six from the state of Indiana.
