MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State women’s swimming and diving team began its 2016-17 season with the annual Red and White meet at Lewellen Aquatics Center Saturday morning.
Team captain Kimberly Scott guided the Red Team to a win over the White Team, which was led by team captain Courtney Mudd. The Red Team scored115 points while the White Team had 107.
Freshman Anne Vormohr had a great first collegiate swim by placing first in the 100 backstroke and second in the 50 freestyle for the Red Team. Vormohr was also part of the first place finishes in the 200-medley relay, along with Jessica Extine, Amanda Kedzierski and Traci Muszalski, and 400 freestyle relay.
