DEKALB, Ill. - Typically the Cardinals have been the comeback kids all season, prevailing in some tight situations in the final 10 minutes of action, but unfortunately today the win went the other way as Ball State (20-9, 12-5 MAC) fell 70-62 to Northern Illinois (10-18, 6-11 MAC) Wednesday night at the Convocation Center.
Junior Oshlynn Brown had her fourth-straight double-double and 15th of the season after a 20-point, 13 rebound performance. Graduate senior Jasmin Samz also scored in double digits for Ball State with 12 points and became the 29th member of the program's 1,000th point club.
