AURORA, Ohio -- The Ball State men's golf team didn't have the finish it wanted at this week's rain-shortened MAC Championships, but the Cardinals did take home some hardware from the annual postseason awards ceremony.
Timothy Wiseman was recognized with the league's Earl Yestingsmeier Sportsmanship Award, Joey Ranieri was tabbed Freshman of the Year, and CJ Jones earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team.
Wiseman is the fifth Ball State golfer to win the Sportsmanship Award named in honor of Earl Yestingsmeier, the long-time BSU coach who would have turned 86 this week.
