YORKTOWN, Ind. — As Yorktown walked off the field following a 32-13 victory against New Castle, so many smiled. The players, coaches, fans — everyone knew how big of a win Friday night was for the Tigers.
With it, Yorktown is 3-2 on the season. It's the team's best start through five games since 2015, when this year's senior class was in eighth grade, and a step up from the past two years when Yorktown won its first two games only to lose the next three, or more, in the ensuing weeks.
