MUNCIE, Ind. — Jason Grunkemeyer doesn’t know if there was one moment that led him to decide to leave college basketball.
Grunkemeyer, who spent the past eight seasons as an assistant on James Whitford’s staff at Ball State, looks at the past year as almost a trial run of what it’d be like to be home a lot more. Considering the ways the pandemic affected how his schedule would normally unfold, especially when it came to recruiting, he was able to spend that much more time with his family. Speaking last week, Grunkemeyer raved about being able to do so.
