PARKER CITY, Ind. — Monroe Central's boys basketball season didn't start the way the team would've planned.
A pair of games were canceled. Guys were in and out of quarantine due to contact tracing. And, in the Golden Bears' first two games — a pair of 20-point losses to Northeastern and Fort Recovery (Ohio) — head coach Justin Ullom said they were "kind of disjointed on offense and defense, just not real connected."
But whatever issues the Golden Bears had in their first two games weren't apparent last weekend. Because in a 65-36 victory over Wes-Del Saturday night, Monroe Central looked plenty connected.
