MUNCIE, Ind. — Brady Sallee, not known for drawing attention to himself, took the microphone during a break in Tuesday's Ball State men's basketball game.
He made the large Worthen Arena crowd aware of what the women's basketball squad has a chance to achieve: a Mid-American Conference regular-season title, which would be the first of Sallee's 11-year tenure.
With just three games remaining, BSU (23-5) controls its own destiny. It has remaining matchups against the other two teams, Toledo and Bowling Green, that also hold a 13-2 MAC record, and its Saturday matchup with the Rockets (22-4) is the final home game of this historic campaign.
