Ask Ball State women’s volleyball player Zoe Conway, a freshman who came to BSU by way of New Castle. Ask Cardinals football players Kaleb Slaven and Anthony Todd, who came to Ball State by way of Delta and Yorktown, respectively. Ask Ball State football coach Mike Neu, who has a son who plays football for Delta.
In recent weeks, they’ve each had their moments when they’ve watched local high schools and more compete this fall — amid the COVID-19 pandemic — while BSU teams have been unable to do just that.
