MUNCIE, Ind. — Questions are still swirling around collegiate athletics when it comes to what sports will look like amid COVID-19 complications, but that doesn’t mean Ball State’s men’s basketball program hasn’t already scheduled games.
According to a public records request received July 6, BSU has scheduled 10 non-conference games so far for its 2020-21 season. Eight of those 10 opponents are known, as are nearly all of the dates of those games. And should the number of non-conference games stay at 10, given last season Ball State played 13, that may account for the Mid-American Conference moving from 18 conference matchups in a season to 20 starting this season.
